Quantum of the Seas at night

Quantum of the Seas Wows Passengers from New York to Shanghai

In May 2015, Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Global Odyssey launched to take cruise holidays to the next level by including four continents, onboard equipment second to none and an itinerary no one had enjoyed yet. All this onboard the Quantum of the Seas cruise ship.

The ship departs from Cape Liberty, New York and the global package takes passengers on a 53-night cruising adventure unlike any other! Included on the itinerary are Barcelona, Singapore, Rome, Dubai, Jordan and India. In addition to this mega cruise, there are also a range of mini-sailings that passengers can choose from and these are anything from 3 to 16 nights.

Passengers get to enjoy the very best views and locations while enjoying the high-tech innovations that the Quantum of the Seas has to offer. These innovations include:

  • Take your cruise holiday to another level with the North Star Elevate. This capsule takes passengers over 300ft up into the air where they can enjoy superb views of the ship and the sights on the horizon.
  • The SeaPlex offers everything from roller-skating and bumper cars to a basketball court and even a circus school. Young, old and young at heart will all have a blast!
  • Two70° is an amazing venue with panoramic views of the ocean during the day. At night it makes the transformation into a three-storey video wall where passengers can enjoy light shows, performances and digital scenery. Not to mention the Ice Bar feature!
  • RipCord is a skydiving simulator perfect for those seeking a thrill.

This ship is also making waves with its cuisine and chef line up. Big names like Britain’s Jamie Oliver, celebrity chef Devin Alexander and Michael Schwartz, winner of the James Beard Award, are all on the list!

In Quantum Class, the Dynamic Dining programme includes Jamie’s Italian restaurant as well as 17 more restaurants with their own selection of dining times that give passengers added flexibility. The menus and venues are all in line with Royal Caribbean’s latest culinary approach.

The North Star gives cruise passengers a high-flying experience along with their cruise which is unique in every way.

Of course, if you are not able to enjoy the full 53-night option, there are other choices available:

Ocean Voyage takes passengers on an 11-night cruise from Cape Liberty, across the Atlantic to Barcelona. There’s so much to see along the way, numerous port stops and the days at sea are perfect for enjoying the features and facilities on the ship. Some of the top ports you will visit include Ponta Delgada, Cartagena, Azores, Palma de Mallorca and of course Barcelona.

A 16-night cruise will take you on a journey through the Mediterranean Sea and Suez Canal where you will get to enjoy some of the best parts of Europe and the Middle East.
